Spiced Pan Toasted Almonds

Full of healthy monounsaturated fats that effectively lower LDL-levels, these delicious pan toasted almonds will keep your taste-buds satisfied and keep your heart healthy. Super bowl fans will wow with delight!

Serves: 8

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 ½ cups almonds shelled and peeled
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  1. Heat a frying pan over high heat. Reduce the heat to medium- high and add the olive and almonds. Shake the pan often to keep the nuts from burning. Toast the almonds until golden brown.
  2. Once the almonds are golden, turn the heat off and add the chili and seat salt.
  3. Toss and serve. The almonds may be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
